Pet emergencies can happen at any time, and Pinecrest Veterinary Clinic can help. If you live in the Johnson City area, you can visit our trauma and emergency facility to ensure your pet gets the very best care possible.
Emergency Pet Care
If your pet is injured or sick and you can’t get to your regular veterinarian, Pinecrest Veterinary Clinic can assist you. We can assess your pet’s needs and provide the necessary pet services to keep your pet stable and comfortable until you are able to visit your regular veterinarian.
We offer a wide variety of services, including treatment for toxic ingestion, physical trauma, difficulty breathing, and vomiting and diarrhea. Other conditions we provide treatment for include:
- Injuries due to animal fights or auto accidents
- C-sections during birth
- Open mouth breathing in cats
- Ingestion of foreign objects
What to Expect During an Emergency Pet Visit
From the minute you arrive, we are ready to help stabilize your pet and treat them like family. You’ll be asked to fill out paperwork, and one of our technicians will evaluate your pet’s condition. Those who are in critical condition will be seen before pets who are currently stable.
After you and your pet are placed in an exam room for pet care services, your pet will be examined by one of our veterinarians. We will discuss treatment and provide an estimate of any procedure. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For animals that require hospitalization, we ask for 50 percent down at the time you leave your pet. The balance must be paid when you return to pick your pet up.
